“Auntie, are you trying to adopt me as your daughter?”
Little Grapes asked with wide eyes and a single word.
Zhou Xiaoling froze for a moment, then smiled gently, “So, are you willing?”
Little Grapes pointed to Gogo on the side, “Sister Gogo is better behaved and more understanding than me, will Uncle and Auntie adopt Sister Gogo?”
She knew that Sister Guoguo wanted a home too much, wanted to have a mother and father too much.
She could give this opportunity to Sister Gogo.

Little Grape’s eyes lit up, “Will I really have a home of my own?”
“Of course!”
Zhou Xiaoling’s smile became more and more gentle.
Fan Ton also knelt down, “As long as you are Uncle and Auntie’s daughter, we will give you the best of everything in the world.”
Little Grapes smiled up and then nodded vigorously, “Daddy, Mommy!”
“That’s wonderful!” The head gardener smiled and said, “Ms Zhou and Mr Fan will go with me to do the adoption formalities.”
As the adults went about their business, Little Grapes searched everywhere for Gogo.
“Are you looking for me because you want this?” Gogo held up the auspicious cloud jade pendant necklace in her hand, “You stole my mum and dad, I took your necklace, that’s fair!”
Little Grapes choked up and said, “Mother Gardener said this is what my real mum and dad left me, will you give it back to me? When I go home with mummy and daddy, I’ll buy lots of delicious and fun things to bring over to you.”
“If I had been adopted, would I still need you to buy me things?” Gogo shouted angrily, “You’re a thief! You stole my mummy and daddy! I hate you!”
She threw the auspicious cloud jade pendant as hard as she could.
A whole bunch of children were playing in the yard and scattered in a heap, and eventually it was picked up by who knows who.
“Little Grapes, the formalities are done, from now on, you’ll have a mother and a father.” Zhou Xiaoling took the little girl’s soft hands, “Ya, why are your eyes red, who bullied you?”
The little girl’s lips opened and she was about to speak, but she held back.
It was something her real mum and dad had left her, and if her new parents knew she was still thinking of her real parents, it would be very upsetting, right?
