Ye Yunla searched the whole neighbourhood with her little one, but couldn’t find the cat.
She finally realised that she might have been tricked.
She stared coldly at the child in front of her, “Are you really here to look for the cat?”
Fu Ziling’s heart tingled at such a look.
He was not a child who liked to lie.
But, without lying, he would have no valid excuse to stay with this woman.
The little one bit his lips tightly and didn’t say anything.
Ye Yunla knew she had guessed correctly, she said lightly, “What’s your name, where does your family live, I’ll send you back.”
Fu Ziling suddenly felt aggrieved.
He had travelled so far and risked so much to meet her, but not even half an hour after meeting her, she had to kick him out.
His eyes turned red with aggression, “I don’t want to go back!”
He stared stubbornly at Ye Yunla, the aggression in his eyes almost turning into tears.
Ye Yunla’s heart was instantly squeezed, and the feeling of suffocation spread throughout her body.
The two children in her family, the older brother who was obedient and understanding, and the younger sister who was well behaved and withdrawn, neither of them were crybabies.
It could be said that in the past four years, the two children had not cried more than five times combined.
But now, someone else’s child was on the verge of tears in front of her.
She didn’t know why she was suddenly a little heartbroken.
Ye Yunla sighed as she squatted down and said in a soft voice, “If you don’t want to go back, then sit here for a while, but you always have to go home, otherwise your parents will worry.”
Her voice was soft and gentle, like candyfloss, making Fu Ziling’s aggression disappear instantly.

The little one’s face turned even whiter.
“I’ll count to three, if you don’t come over again, you know what the consequences will be.”
Fu Beijue’s face was filled with cold ice, and impatience surfaced in his eyes.
Before he could even shout, Fu Ziling jumped out of Ye Yunla’s arms.
He moved slowly, and before he could walk over, he was picked up by the back of Fu Beijue’s collar and thrown into the arms of the bodyguard behind him.
“Take the little young master away!”
Duke Fu ordered coldly.
The bodyguard dared not disobey and carried the young master away.
Fu Ziling stubbornly yelled, “Daddy, I snuck out on my own to find this woman, it has nothing to do with this woman, I admit to whatever punishment, don’t take it out on others!”
